Web19 dec. 2024 · While current interpretations based on archaeology (Herr, 2013) and ethnohistory (Forbes, 1960) document intensive Western Apache use of the Mogollon Rim region by AD 1550, here we recognize oral traditions that Apaches were in the area at the same time as Ancestral Pueblo peoples.
